What to do .. Elsie Marley's kids clothes week challenge (open to all) kicks off Monday and I'm still undecided. Which of the florals should it be; cream, burgundy, the green? Time will tell.

Yesterday I picked up a copy of this magazine which I'd not seen before. It came highly recommended by my local fabric shop so I'm hoping to pick up some useful tips this weekend.

Not this evening though, I'll be snuggled up on the sofa with the children watching Merlin. Bliss.

Happy weekend x

  1. Can't join in that one - no kids! That magazine looks good - I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. Have a good weekend

  2. I have heard that mag is good too. Merlin is fab isn't it!

  3. We've got to wait until tomorrow for Merlin - friends round for dinner and it would be rude!

  4. I wish I had a local fabric shop! We used to have fab fabric stalls on our local markets when we made fabric here in the north - sadly all gone now. Can't wait to see what you make. xxx

  5. They all look lovely, the green is my favourite. Having looked at your archives and seen the beauitful clothes you sew I am looking forward to seeing what you make.

  6. Oh, I should join in but, simply can't...I've already made myself swear that I will work on items for the shop. Sounds like a great thing though, love your fabrics as usual.

  7. I like the look of that mag. cover. I am going to have to trot off to the bookstore and see if we get it here.

All those fabrics are gorgeous too and look well worth the effort of sewing. I can see why you are having trouble choosing. x

  8. i have the green liberty fabric too, so pretty. i also spent saturday snuggled up with my 2 girls on the sofa watching Merlin. it was a good one wasn't it?!

There's nothing like a comment to stop me feeling like I'm talking to myself. If you leave one here I'll pop one back here too, so don't forget to come back and continue the conversation ..
