It is an amazing little place. On the day that we went - in August - it was so warn that I actually swam in the bay - something I don't do too often in UK waters. xxxxDianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11269721218424514656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287990209998962840.post-18859442025238582622011-04-19T05:07:38.779-07:002011-04-19T05:07:38.779-07:00Thank you for sharing, how sad for the villager...Thank you for sharing, how sad for the villager's but it does allow that capture of a place in time. Had the village have progressed and evolved over time we would not have known about violet cake, there would be no exquisite old telephone box. I am hoping to get to Imber in Wiltshre at some point which is another MOD taken over village. It is not as well preserved but the church has been kept.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15581356102620092474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287990209998962840.post-15634966533299905212011-04-19T01:01:01.613-07:002011-04-19T01:01:01.613-07:00What an interesting post. What a shock to them all to be permanently excluded.
